  • You just need to know what color variety your plant is. There are red, yellow and black habaneros. They are ripe when the fruit is substantially changed from green to its ripened color. The roots don't tolerate overly wet conditions. Let them dry out between watering. Enjoy.
  • Also ... the longer you let them hang, the hotter they get.
