I intend to continue using Windows XP. Although it doesn't have all of the newer features and capabilities, it runs faster than either Vista or 7, especially on older hardware. If you do decide to upgrade to 7, I would recommend waiting a couple months after the release to allow time for bugs to be sorted out.

I won't upgrade, too expensive. When this piece of crap dies, then I'll bite the bullet and get a new computer with it installed. Easier, and cheaper.

I wish I could afford Windows XP. I would replace Vista. I am not liking it as much as I did XP. So, my guess is I won't move up to Windows 7.

I made the mistake of buying my computer FOUR DAYS too soon. Now I'll have to pay for Win7 if I decide I want it. Suddenly I'm not so happy with Acer.

I'll be upgrading to 7 as soon as the second stable comes out. By then I'll have been supplied with new equipment, and I'll be putting arch linux on beside 7. I wish I could just jump into Linux like they keep telling me to, but a working computer I know how to do things work requires on is more important than my curiosity for now.

I have the RC for 7 and I love it! I will get 7 after the first service pack comes out most likely.

I have beta tested Windows 7 for a long time now, and i will say its a good operating system, but i doubt i personally will move to it for awhile, i might do a dual boot of Windows 7 and Windows xp, I have a dual boot right now of Vista and Xp. I still find myself using xp more then vista though.

I hate bill gates and I hate vista. But I refuse to buy windows7. My husband will buy it anyway since it is way better than vista.

I stayed with XP, but will get Windows 7. Mind you, if Ubuntu had worked on my system I might not have been with Microsoft at all, because if there was ever a company I hated, that is the one.

... no ... I much prefer Linux ... use Ubuntu at the moment, and have a few Apple-Mac and MS-Windows emulators that allow me to run most Mac or MS applications and games inside a Mac or Windows shell while still on a Linux kernel ...
