Well I am currently on the Depo Provera shot, and I have not gained any weight. If anything I have lost a few pounds. Prior to this I was on birth control, but it raised my blood pressure. But other than that my weight increased by about 4 pounds in 3 years. Studies show that they do increase a woman's appetite, but if you watch how much you eat you should not be concerned. Just make sure to keep yourself in check, and you will be fine.
does taking the progestrogen only pill stop your periods even if you have only taken about 10 days worth?
