Heater on my '00 buick century only worked on highest or lowest settings and neither of the 2 middle ones (same with a/c). it blew hot or cold respectively but now none of the settings work. whats wrong?

    Always get a Chilton's or Haynes manual for whatever car you own. You'll get lots of good info just like this. My '99 Dodge also has a 'resistor block' that has a tendency to burn out. You might have a similar problem.
