Help answer this question below.

If you had only yourself to consider, would you be able to go into the Witness Protection Program and never see or speak to family or friends again?

    No, I can't live without my friends. I've lived without my family because they disowned me for dating outside my race. But I couldn't do without my friends.

    If a person only had themselves to consider, they wouldn't have any family or friends and thus it would be very easy. The nature of this question doesn't work whatsoever.

    I would find something like that very difficult to do. I have very strong emotional connections to those important in my life.

    Something like that would really mess with my sense of self and being cut off from them would be so very painful.

    I honestly cannot say what I would do. I hope I never will have to be faced with a decision like that.

    If the choice was between that and almost certain death, I think I'd try it. The program generally includes immediate family.
