There are two remedies used in my family. 1.) You can make regular tea and drink it with your food regularly. 2.) Just get 2 teaspoons of honey and swallow it. Hope this helps. :-)

Doctor's usually suggest gargling with salt and warm water. A little chloraseptic spray or a menthol cough drop will help numb the pain. You should really see a doctor though if this lasts more than a day or so or if you feel worse today, or if you have a fever. Hope you feel better soon! http://www.good-earth.com/.../...oat-coat-tea.html I have found Throat Coat Tea is wonderful..both my best friend Tony and I are singers and this stuff has gotten us through many gigs. Another good thing is hot honey and lemon..heat 8 oz of water with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of honey (you can adjust these amounts to taste but this is what works for me). Also drinking a tablespoon of olive oil coats the throat and soothes it. This is another trick that vocalists use. I have personally used all of these and I know they work.
