I have a wax printer, and I haven't heard of any printers that do release toxins into the air.
iwas using a hp deskjet 6940 printer until it broke
I still use my old HP inkjet, all in one. It still works great, but I'm going to have to look into this solid idea. Thanks for the heads up. :)
Thanks for the information.
I have been thinking of upgrading from my dot matrix printer.
Now I will look for the solid ink instead of inkjet.

You're reading What type of printer do you use? Have you heard about the solid ink cartridge printers that don't release toxins into the air while printing?

thanks siyanor. your wax printer is cool as it uses solid ink. most inkjets & laser printers release toxic volatile organic compounds, ozone particulates, and other fine particulate matter into the air, which have been linked to heart & lung disease and cancer.
