Question

Help! I am disassembling a Mazda Wankel engine with partial air injection and a 4 barrel carburetor. I can't get the flywheel off. I took the huge bolt that was on the flywheel off, but what now?

Ok...I did this exact thing the other day on my riding lawnmower. Tie a rope around the flywheel, then tie the other end around a tree or streetlight. Turn on the engine, and back up slowly. This usually takes the flywheel right off. If that doesn't work, the next best thing would be to use a sledge hammer with a paper towel taped to the end (so it won't damage anything). Just swing the hammer at the flywheel in an outward direction and it should come off. Dynamite also works well.
