Our court papers states the father gets the child 3pm-6pm on 4th of july, we have been doing for 2 yrs.This year it falls on his scheduled visiting day.The papers states that holidays take precedence over scheduled visits.What do i do if he gets mad atme

    Tell him to take it to court, it has nothing to do with you! You didn't make the decision but you MUST FOLLOW IT.

    If it was not a holiday he would be getting the whole day anyway, why is it a big deal to allow him his normal day?

    It's his scheduled visiting day; just ask him if he wants to have them all day? Why create friction when the whole idea here is for the kids to spend time with their father.
