Help answer this question below.

Can a HOA charge you an additional assessment for painting and after the painting is done charge you an extra assessment for stucco repairs? 35 out 0f 132 units have minor stucco repairs that still need to be done. The painter does not do repairs. Irene

It sounds like they got the cart before the horse by painting before doing stucco repairs, BUT stupidity is not illegal, just bad business.

If they can charge you the assessment for painting, they certainly have the right to charge you for the stucco repairs also...then probably to paint over the repairs again...

You always have the right to complain to your HOA.
