You can. but, if you are stopped by the police, they will discover your lapsed Visa and call INS.

Can you even enter the usa without a visa, There is one thing i know that if you are caught with your expired visa you are going to have to deal with ins and that could get ugly. My friend's ex bf was caught with a expired visa for school and expired work visa he was put in a fedral detention center for 2wks, he was then deported and he is not allowed entry in the us for 10yrs
