Help answer this question below.

If a minor (16,17 years old) was dating an adult only a few years older (20-22 years old) and the minor WANTS to have sex with the adult, is the adult allowed to give in and meet the desires of the minor or no?

    it is not legally recommended but i was in this position before, i was 14 and my boyfriend 21 and we decided we wanted to do what we wanted...i mean i think in a way it is rape only if one of the two are objecting, if the young girl decides she wants it then why is it the guys faul, she's gonna have sex with someone else regardless if its an older man or someone her age.

    so if you're looking for a legal answer than the answer is no, it is illegal in most places, but if you are looking for an opinion i say that if both of them want it then go ahead, its your life and only you decide how to live it.

    It depends on the age of concent laws where you live. The world wide average is 16 but it varies country by country and even state by state in the USA.

    No, until the child reaches the legal age of consent he or she is considered unable to fully understand the consequences of sex and therefor too young to give consent to a sexual relationship.

    In the eyes of the law, an adult who has sex with a person who is too young to give consent a form of rape: statutory rape. If the adult were to commit this offense and be convicted of it then he or she would also become a registered sex offender- which carries serious lifelong reprocussions.

    17 yes just make sure you dont get her pregnant 16 no you will go to jail in a second i asked an officer so yea that is what the rules are
