Why are some people disgusted by SPAM (Canned meat in a blue can)? Have you ever tried Spam Musubi?

lol! I used to love the salty junk,but I just can't eat it anymore,to many stomach problems,and very little nutrition.The virtual junk mail was named after the stuff because it was said to have "No redeeming value." *+++++*

Spiced Ham is actually considered a delicacy outside the US. We just overdosed on the stuff years ago, so now we don't want anything to do with it. Those who didn't OD on it are just going by reputation.

well it's a like /hate/like situation for me. The taste isn't bad..growing up poor it was a common staple in the household and compared to it's ghetto cousing TREAT, it was a step above. The first time I went to Korea to visit, many of my friends there ate Spam in many different ways, there was even Kim Bob (a form of Korean Sushi) that had Spam in it. But the bottom line is, I could survive on it if I had to, but the ingredients, gross me out to no end...it's basically leftover parts grinded up..not parts I consider particularly palatable
