Who would you find harder to work for... Basil Fawlty (Fawlty Towers) or David Brent (The Office)

    First off. Most awesome question!

    Second off... That's a tough one. Both are hapless in their own way. Basil is a nazi boss and irritating but then David is spineless and irritating.

    I'd say Basil because if I had to sink low enough I could resort to seducing David into treating me nicely and David doesn't seem to care too much about what his employees do whereas Basil's really high strung and I'd want to kick him in the nuts after a while.

    Basil Fawlty for sure.

    I've worked both in hotels and offices and I think I could handle a David Brent boss a lot better than a Basil Fawlty.

    Besides, I'd love to witness my boss doing the David Brent dance!

    David Brent I reckon. He'd drive me nuts. Basil Fawlty I could deal with, being hit round the head like Manuel wouldn't really bother me. Just as long as he doesn't beat me like he did his mini (surely the most ultimate scene of Fawlty Towers)
