I'm watching this question for an answer from someone with some legal background, or someone who has had some success in a similar situation.
From my experience however, an officer can do just about anything they want, (regardless of the law) without being held accountable.
In those few situations when they DO cross the line (beyond the "just about anything" line)...and commit involuntary manslaughter on a little girl (like one did recently in my neck of the woods), they get "suspended for two weeks with pay".
Where I work, this is called paid vacation.
Father dies son/Executor keeps it secrect for 9 months from hiers and Son/Executors girl trys to sell property. Is he in breach of duties?

You're reading I was pulled over for a headlight and got a owi out of it. The officer wrote I was pulled over in the am which in fact was pm. He also did not put me in seatbelts both timesw in transit and never read me my rights. Can I get out of this?
