The mechanics of matter behind "spells" (AKA creative visualization) is at the quantum level and below. As we learn more about those levels and create instruments to measure the movement, we'll learn more as to how much spells/visualization/creativity of today influence our tomorrows.
Because it's total BS.
Anybody who thinks casting a spell on someone else is actually going to work is a person I would recommend some type of therapy for. But it probably would not work for them since they are that delusional.
wicca is a science , the science of nature . natural remedies , natural forces , and nature itself .
the proof is proven to us who use it, and to those we help. ...discovery of a new force ? ?? this force is not new . it is ancient , and much older than any group that is using something simular to spells today . even if it is called something else.
and by the way . every spell is a scientific test , and a study in it's own right.
if you used science to try to prove us wrong , you would accidently prove us right . it's just nature .
For most Wiccans, the art is a self-improvement program using focus, concentration and psycho-drama to achieve our goals.
There is a common misconception among 'lay' people that it is about putting spells on people, but that is only in fiction.
the God and Goddess gave us the power to cast spells and if we abuse it, they can take it away.
magick is a ancient practice and we should respect it as
Actually studies on healing found prayer hurt if the individual knew they were being prayed for. That makes sense because "prayers" for healing are actually spells. You truly don't know for sure if healing is the best thing for the eternal soul of the individual involved.
It's not the spell itself that is the "driving force" by the mental evolvement of the individual attempting them. myself can pull off some fun stuff by thought but we don't have the instruments to trace it from source to outcome yet but we will.
My DIL is still scared of me after I promised her snow for my first grandchild's Christmas. She was pretty floored to walk out of midnight mass to snowflakes.............in McAllen TX. Could I prove I did it? Nah but I don't care whether I can or not. Not being able to prove it doesn't stop stuff like that from occurring all the time in my life.
But I am working on that Nobel prize from another angle ; )

I am turning seventeen in a couple of months. I was wondering if there is any special wiccan tradition?

You're reading Wiccans, if your spells work, have you ever considered to you to test them under scientific conditions (studies) in order to establish proof, or maybe even get a nobel prize for the discovery of a new 'force'? If not, why?

so far, human caused influence on quantum effects has not been proven. My question is why not try to prove it if you think you can do that?

It will be proven. You can't ""prove"" something without scientific evidence. We have to have the instruments first to provide the so called "chain" of evidence. I expect to see such the first half of this century. Many facets of our lives will fall onto place then.

you can prove it statistically with surveys. Do some kind of spell or whatever on 100 people and then compare that group with 100 other random people, if anything significantly changed you can be pretty sure there's something behind that spell.

That's been done, and the results get pooh-poohed. When they did studies on prayer and healing, it showed results. So the skeptics did a bunch of studies designed to fail so they could say they told us so.
