You're reading I tried to change my brakes for the first time the other day, and after having the brake dust on my hands and arms for a while, I began to break out in hives on my arms. What could I possibly be having an allergic reaction to?

Thanks.. Wash the clothes you were wearing good too and keep them separate from your kids clothing if you have kids. In fact keep your kids away from brakes, your clothing or anything to do with brake dust. Don't even let them play around tires, etc..
