The term business model is used as a broad range of informal and formal descriptions to represent core aspects of a business, including purpose, offerings, strategies, infrastructure, organizational structures, trading practices, and operational processes and policies...obviously these vary company to company as far as individual policies and plans and such go.

As someone said, look up a few company websites and see what different companies have posted as their core aspects of business.
