Fox News is also still saying that Mark Sanford is a democrat, so I've heard. Just throwing that out there. That's like, the fifth or so time they've done that in the wake of some similar controversy.

Well in all fairness to Limbaugh, it doesn't sound like he went quite as far as to say Obama caused Sanford to cheat on his wife... he said the economic policies led to his loss of spirit, and so he basically said "screw it" internally (presumably abandoning whatever principles might have kept him in the marriage). What Rush brushes over, obviously distorting any kind of moral logic, is that even if Sanford's "spirit" is broken it's not a justification for abandoning his own principles, if indeed they are his own principles and not just some public posturing. It seems pretty clear this is all hogwash, I doubt that Obama had anything to do with Sanford's choices about his personal life.

For as much as I'm against legislation and censorship particularly of speech, I hope to gawd they pass HR 1966. Hopefully, then, we'll have some leverage to put Fat Limbaugh's ass in jail for a while for all of the irresponsible, wreckless shit he pulls on the radio. People like him should be sent to Guantamo and waterboarded till the water comes out of his ass!
