Quantum computing is here and will change the way how everything operates. Video games are a given improvement, but the real change in video games won't be the graphics or A.I. The biggest change will involve the ability to learn from the game. Like military facilities have simulations, quantum computers will bring about a revolution in learning a trade, or surviving a tramatic experiance. Like the Internet has everything availible upon request, quantum computers make it possible for the computer to teach you. Incorperate a hard drive in your head, and you could live online. This is the future, and coming.

Very difficult to say. Quantum computers could process information at speeds approaching the speed of light or possibly beyond because of the way particle interaction occurs within a quantum computer.
Information would be encryptable to the point where code cracking would be impossible and particles could in theory exist in both a 0 and 1 state which would turn the existing binary logic based computing system on its head.

It will take the best part of 25 years for us to truy realise what we can do with quantum computers but I imagine in conjunction with other technology we'd be getting towards a full virtual reality system.

    Plug me in Scotty.

Since most of you suck, I would imagine, a lot of losers complaining about cheating games. Most video have to be dumbed down to facilitate human players, I really doubt any video game players want that kind of challenge.

Since a quantum computer processes information many times faster than a normal one (A normal computer may take decades to decrypt a certain encryption key, a quantum computer could do it in seconds), games could have a huge improvement on how many things are active at the same time. Since the computer would run so fast, vast improvements could be made to graphics, AI and dynamic objects.
