How do you get a record expunged in north carolina? I got an assault on a government official charge,and I have 2 children to support but can't get a job due to this charge that happened 2 years ago.

This is a serious charge and it will be on your record forever.

Some attorney may tell you, for a fee, that he can go into court and have your record expunged. this is not true. your assault on a government official will be with the FBI forever, along with your fingerprints.

You can only get the charge expunged if you at the time of the offense a minor.
