Why would someone assume someone, who isn't under the influence of drugs, to be under the influence of drugs?

    There are many possibilities.

    -They have known people on a certain drug to behave in a particular way and you are behaving in a similar manner.

    -They don't have experience with drugs and you are acting totally out of character, so they attribute it to drugs.

    -Someone else may have insinuated to this person that you were taking drugs.

    -They have learned the physical signs of drug use and you are showing them for an unrelated reason. (ie: dilated pupils, weight loss, glassy eyes)

    -You have some friends who the person knows use drugs or believes use drugs and they think you are guilty by association.

    If they think you're acting strangely and out of character than I am assuming they assume you're on something. You can get drugs pretty easily these days.
