Most of the time. Unless someone was doin' something low-down and mean to someone that they thought it was okay to do things to. This is called a "sanctioned victim". Like the way they used to treat lepers back in the bible days. Or black people in the south US. They thought that it was their fault - something they did to deserve it - and that God was punishing them so it was fine for them to bully them too. Just like they do today to fat people. Then - NO - i would NOT "get along" with the jerk doing that. That would be my exception.
