Question

Help answer this question below.

I'm a bass when I talk, but when I try to sing high notes my voice doesn't sound as smooth. How do I sing high notes in a low register and speak and sing more smoothly overall? How do I make my voice more constant, so I stay in a low register?

The transition notes (the notes between the higher head notes and the lower chest notes) are the hardest to do. Work with a vocal coach on this. It should help alot.
