In Greek Mono=alone and theos=God.Tri=three and Uni=together. so if Monotheistic literally means God is alone and trinity literally means "three together" are Christians who believe in the trinity monotheistic if they believe in the trinity?

    yes, because trinity means three in ONE, not three together.
