You're reading In Greek Mono=alone and theos=God.Tri=three and Uni=together. so if Monotheistic literally means God is alone and trinity literally means "three together" are Christians who believe in the trinity monotheistic if they believe in the trinity?

uni means together in greek, which is where unified comes from. If three people are unified they are not literally one person, but good answer!
