I don't use ocatne at all, but I want a cetane rating of at least 45
I buy the middle grade, cause my truck has a Hemi and that is what the owners manual says to run. But I wonder if the heads would really be damaged by running the low octane. I am not looking forward to changing my spark plugs, 16 plugs on a V8! Expensive.
I buy 89 octane gas.
