Yes, you can be smart at one thing and unintelligent at another at the same time
I believe it's more accurate to say COMMON SENSE versus BOOK SENSE.
I've come across very intelligent people, who when trying to give them instructions--it was like trying to teach a MERMAID to do "the split!!!!"
