Here's what I did with mine (www.resume-resource.com/before-after/ba-ex01.pdf). I personally really like it. I used different fonts though; Big Caslon for the name and Helvetica for everything else on the resume. I think it gives it a clean, artistic, and most of all professional look. I could also email you a copy of my resume instead of this example if you're interested.
On mine I used Contact Information as the heading and it was alligned to the right
Basically, I was wondering how to get my home & cell #s, email address, and street address all in the headings. The following has 3 lines of info at the left margin, and two at the right margin, so it looks lopsided. Is there any way to condense it that looks decent? Thanks! (Gotta put ........'s in to keep the space in there.)

When applying for jobs, are you supposed to send your Resume AND the (excellent) character reference from your former employer??

You can always adjust fonts/sizes.
