Yes, especially if you are single. That would be hard to live off of if you had kids.

yeah... but how many jobs are going for a zooologist? plus LOTS of young people want to do that, so there is always way more students then jobs.

I think it is a very good source of income. The average salary for americans is roughly 30,000 to 40,000 a year. So you would be very well off. :)

That would be Rs.2.5 million which is what a normal Indian would earn in his entire lifetime.For him it would be a goldmine.

It depends were you live and the cost of living. Right now in today's economy I would think it difficult to find a job like that. Many zoos are closing or cutting back and in the academic world the same is true. I made more driving a bus for the city, no education needed.
