    Judges refer to that as, "BULLSHIT."

    One concept of legal issues in the USA is, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse!"

    Simply put, just because you did not KNOW that killing someone was against the law, you can still be arrested, charged, tried, convicted and executed for murder.
