I am not a lawyer, but I don't think you can charge rent. You need to contact the power company and demand for that pole to be removed from your property. Poles are usually on city property. You can request a spot light and they sometimes put a small pole in your lot with the light which you pay monthly fee additional to you electricity bill. That pole probably stayed there from the past way of installing light. Make your notices in writing. Some attorneys give first consultation free. Look for one that is free first visit. good luck Also make sure the property is under your name.
