Help answer this question below.

I have gotten a few poems published in literary magazines. I want to write and publish books. I've been wanting to for some time now. What am I so afraid of, and how can I get focused past the fear?

    To start out, try and understand why you are afraid. You are probably afraid that no one will "like" your work or people will criticize it. To get over this, don't write for them, write for you. What I would suggest would be writing the book for yourself and then showing it to a publisher. For your first book, it will be difficult to overcome the fear, but after you finish the first one, it's uphill from there. For more:
