Help answer this question below.
I am going with prison. Despite the bollocks people come ut with about prisons, they are terrible places. They really change a person, it's torturous. Death is the end, no chance to experience anymore pain. No, life sentence is far worse
Worse for whom?
For the prisoner I think life in jail would be hard, and I don't agree with the death sentence.
For the family of the victim or the victim, I find this hard to answer as I have not been in that position, but I still think rotting in jail is harder.
life in prison is horrible. I have been there many times as a visitor, and there is nothing nice about being there. I think to spend the rest of my natural life behind bars would have me begging for the death sentence.
Life in prison is much worst. You never know what may happen in prison. You may get raped, stabbed, killed or even beat. Life in prison is living with dangerous strangers and you never may know what might happen to you. On the other behalf, a death sentence is better. You get killed faster, and don't have to suffer all the things you possibly will in prison. But for a religious person, the death sentence might be worst because the believe they'll automatically go to hell. But my opinion is the life in prison is severely worst than a rapid death sentence.
I would imagine that it depends on what you want out of life.
If the people were actually guilty then the death penalty would be better. Live free or die. But when there are those innocent people in prison, then being injail would be better because there is a chance that DNA could prove otherwise. These things happen everyday. about 20% of the people put on death row are innocent, and are found innocent after their deaths, and there are those that get taken off death row and put on the streets as a free person.
Depends on the condition of your soul.Life in prison might buy you time to get right with God. Death penalty might let you escape one Hell to be thrown into another. Depends on your Spiritual condition.
Definitely life in prison. I would much rather die & go 2 heaven.
Death.
If you are sensible enough, you can be a positive influence outside world (through books/articles). But then why would you be in prison at first place.
Death sux
At least I'd have life in prison where I could develop my intellect further. Life and always.
Life imprisonment. With death it's all over with. But with imprisonment you have to suffer for your life.
I would rather be executed rather than rot away in prison. "It's better to burn out than to fade away."
i think life in prison would be worse.
Your dead a long time. Any time spent above ground has to be better.
What ever the individual did to deserve one was more than likely worse worse.
Its really a split.
A death sentence gets it over in a hurry and the book is closed.
A life sentence is a daily reminder of the commited crime.
The prison have gangs and only the strong survive.
Death sentence,
Life in prison particularly in the UK means about 12 years.
Even if it is in a country that life means life they always have hope.
nothing, not anything is gained from the death or killing of another human. (although some humans may not deserve to live.)
I'd rather die, I think it depends on the person.
I think it would be worse to serve a life prison sentence. A lifetime in prison is like a lifetime of torture. Most maximum security prisoners have to constantly worry about rape, murder, and torture….and many have to rape, murder, and torture to receive respect and keep themselves safe. I think that kind of life would be miserable. I would rather die than live in misery for life and then die anyways.
The only exception to this rule is if the prison was a “nice”, nonviolent, low security prison, in which prisoners have a great deal of freedom/ rights….or if there was a possibility of being released from prison and/or exonerated.
life in prison because you have the same routine day in day out and you have time in your sell to think about what you did, i think it would drive most people crazy, especially because its not a safe place to be. also because i believe this life as we know it now is just one part of our journey after we die we go somewhere else, where exactly i dont know.
No way I get caught and arrested by the police, I will shoot toward them and have them kill me in a shootout with about 20 bullets in my chest while wearing a tan suit and tie
if they are guilty, then from a Justice point of view, then they should pay for their crime.
If they are innocent, and there is no chance of being able to find evidence to prove that, then Death Sentence.
I'm assuming that "life in prison" is what it says: the rest of your life, behind bars.
If however, it is for a period of your life, then it depends if the prisoner thinks his life is worth suffering for.
Life in prison
Well - the condemned sure as heck fight a lot harder to AVOID being put to death than the 'Life without Parole' lot do to BE put to death....

Suppose a guy(or a woman) in a case you've followed has been on death row and has now been marked for CP.
