Can you give adequate time to ur wife & kids & still be VERY close with ur kids when u come home each day at 8o'clock evening?

    No. what time you have is taken up with washing clothes, dinner, clothes for the next day and so on. been there, done that.

    Not to mention being completely exhausted and wanting to take a shower and just hit the bed.

    Some how, some way, you must make time for your family. you don't want your children to forget who you are.

    1st lets address the fact that I hope you are gone late each night because you are in school to take english classes... second its not easy, but not impossible..its very difficult to have a close relationship with your family when you have missed so much of the day thats gone by without you there...they are just winding down for bed. My hubby gets home at 7. We have dinner at 7 and the younger kids get ready after dinner for bedtime at 8:30. he misses alot of time with them. I spend time with him after kids are tucked in. We have weekends too!

    It's not the quantity, it's the quality. If your family sees you trying with the time you do have, then it is adequate time.
