Should i get a Ps3 or Xbox 360, and why?

Depends. If you're a fan of Japanese games, don't play a lot of multiplayer games, or hate to pay for online use, I'd go PS3. It had the Cell before the 360 did, their network is much easier to use, as well as FREE, and though not as many games are released for PS3, they all tend to be quite top-notch games. On the other hand, if you like American releases, almost exclusively play multiplayer games, enjoy giving away money to get online, and love consoles that break so often Microsoft had to institute a policy of replacing 360s for free, go for 360. You might want to wait for a less biased review though. If you have any questions, I'll be over here on my PS3 controlling it with my PSP and gazing around my room at Sony paraphernalia.
