I have been on it about 6-8 months. I was given prozac after I had a complete hysterectomy due to health problems. I think my hormones were messed up not my mental ablility.

mood swings and some minor depression is most likey what will happen...But i would talk to your doctor. He'll be able to tell you alot more...and it varies by person...so you may have no side effects...
