Help answer this question below.
Humans. Seriously.
Human themselves. We can be so destructive.
The United States of America
The fact that idiots breed faster than smart people, on average.
Religion..period..single biggest threat. Nothing can beat it for shear ignorance. ;)

MAN himself; wherever he goes there he is.
ignorance and greed
Mankind themselves
ignorance. overpopulation and greed are among the biggest threats, but they are byproducts of ignorance.
Just plain greed.
In my opinion, your question actually answers itself. The greatest threat to the human race is the species own unhealthy obsession with permanence. Wars have been fought over nothing more than the 'need' for certain ideas to remain solid.
All things in this universe are temporary in nature. No individual, no species, no star, no solar system, nothing of a physical nature will survive into perpetuity. The entire universe is destined to destroy itself at some point.
Humans will not survive, period. It's already a done deal. The death of our species is as certain and unpredictable as the death of any single individual is. All things are ephemeral.
People who invent reasons to start wars.

Religion.
+5
Our inability to change and adapt as quickly as bacteria and viruses.
germs, disease, plagues and oh yeah humans!
Superstition & Tradition.
Ourselves.
Man's inhumanity to man.
Time! I think that if we have enough time, we can find a way off of this rock. But the adaptability and indominability of the human spirit is impressive. There is very little that we can't overcome. What an impressive, survivalist species we are
Our inability to control human population growth.
Ourselves
viruses.
Greed...
the human race
human nature, this includes our natural greed, stupidity, ignorance, and inability to engage in civil discourse
The Human Race itself and cows( I mean I wouldnt be happy if some human killed my friends and family so they can eat, I bet cows say, "Just live off of grass or Eat More Chicken")
The population out-pacing the economy.
Religion.
Religion and politics.
the human race itself
Liberals.
Ourselves.
Turning their backs on God!
Halitosis and B.O.
too long without a sustainable environmental and energy policy (i.e. greed on the part of those killing perfect common sense)
Ourselves.
yes scotsman,i can.first i liked to say i am a newbie to this correspondence thing online,so if i type in long sentences or unending paragraphs, please bare with me.we as a world have many illusions, one of them being that from where we stand that there is a future for us,this is a problem.why?we do not have control over our wants and needs.we are told what we need.our freedom to transend is taken away from us.when a handfull of people can dictate the value of our lives it is really more like captivity. when one looks at history, and sees the math involved in the disintergration of the most powerful dynasties on earth(the time of alexander, egypt, persia, rome)these factors are present today multplied by hell of a lot more people.we are under the illusion we are free.are we?while we were busy with our fight to keep church and state in some kind of order (rights movements aplenty)the power of the illusion of money(it is something we made up and can change it's meaning and or value at any time)came in and bought it all and is being dictated by a greedy powerful few.we are brainwashed by false religion, poor and weak politics, commercialism, big industry and the entertainment industry.all of which hog this imaginary resource.lets take for instance fossil fuels.why are we still using these, there outdated by half a century.for that matter, why are we still using private transportation?back in the 30's we new by simple math there would be to many people for this(not counting the baby boom of the 60s)and we are ignoring it.all we ever hear is about the future, and we don't look back to see where we came from ,to know where were at,to see where we are really going.all to distracted by the illusions we create.i touched on energy and transportation, there is ALOT more.thanks for letting me rant. d man
in short, ignorance of reality.
