i heard that there have been serial killers that have the condition and they acctually hunted people and ate them!:0

amber c: "Many authors have speculated that werewolf and vampire legends may have been used to explain serial killings in less enlightened ages. This theory is given credence by the tendency of some modern serial killers to indulge in practices (such as cannibalism, mutilation and cyclic attacks) commonly associated with werewolves. The idea (although not the terminology) is well explored in Sabine Baring-Gould's seminal work The Book of Werewolves."

Thank you sooooo much for this answer iwnit. I've finally found some literature referring to me. I thought I was all alone in the world.

what do you mean alone in the world?
by ~AmberTheCuriousOne~ on June 26th, 2009
Sorry amber I forgot to praise you for your excellent question. You see I have a Secret Squirrel in my head. I am capable of metamorphosizing into him. Sorry I know this sounds ridiculous, but it's true. I was under the impression Cyril was alone in the world - that no one else understood him. I wouldn't have it any other way now that I've got to know him again, but it's sooooo nice to hear from people who don't laugh at me or just think I'm nuts - lol. Do you know what I mean? If you do Cyril would love to have a word with you in private.

Thanks again amber for not dismissing my squirrel - ramblings as those of a nutter (which of course Cyril is, if truth be told). I see that you don't suffer first - hand, you learnt of it on Animal Planet I see. Well nonetheless, I appreciate your inquisitiveness. It was nice talking to you and iwnit all the same. I've tried to search for answers before, but got nowhere fast I'm afraid.
Kitty - why the cynicism against amber? I found comfort in her interest. Sorry, I should have learnt to keep my little, pink, twitchy nose out of other peoples' grumblings by now, but I was just curious.

kittys a friend a really, really annoying friend.shes so annoying if she had lived during prehistoric times we would have still had dinosaurs because the asteriod would have turned around and went right back out to space just to get away from her!
kitty takes pride in being annoying

by ~AmberTheCuriousOne~ on July 5th, 2009

Hiya Amber and Kitty. Tee - hee, I enjoyed your banter. I'm glad there's no animosity between you. I must say I liked your analogy amber, and Kitty I'm impressed you laughed it off. What a refreshing change.
