  • It shouldn't be allowed anywhere, under any circumstances or conditions. UNLESS you are hunting Republicans, or other terrorists. +5
  • Animal populations rise and fall naturally. Sometimes massive overpopulation can be catastrophic and tens of thousands of animals will die to to starvation and disease. I don't have an issue with limited hunting aimed at stabilizing populations in national parks. Why allow animals to starve to death when they can be taken for human consumption instead.
  • I say no , too many people like to roam in the parks
  • Yes, it keeps other animals from growing to big population wise. And why do people hate hunting, everything is going to die sometimes. And about all the animals in the world hunt, but its not our fault we invented the gun first
  • It should be allowed. especially if you are hunting librals.
  • You can't shoot the rangers! They're there to help you! - Seriously, for population control, what's the practical (not emotional) problem? - ;-)
  • I think that it shouodn't be allowed. In PA they have had one day of hunting because the deer population has got too big and it's hurting the eco system. I agree with that if its necessary.
  • Absolutely! With a special permit, notification to other visitors that people may be hunting, and the usual safeties suggested and enforced (no shooting unless there is visible ground behind the target). Why is there a "need", people might ask? Well, the Federal and State governments trap, kill, and discard invasive species (wild pigs, wild turkeys), and those which have overpopulated themselves (some deer and bear), in parks and monuments. What a waste! Why not let the general public, for whom the parks were ostensibly created, make mutually-beneficial use of the resource?
  • In certain areas of the parks, yes.
