The coldest place I have been to was the upper peninsular of michigan. an island in chippewa county called sugar island. i think it was 20 degress below including the windchill factor.

"Where is the coldest place you have ever been and what was the temperature?" Switzerland. Don't know what the temperature was but a really bad storm came over and we had ice dropping on us. It was the strangest thing I ever saw. It all happened so quickly. Did I mention we were stuck up a mountain because the cable car was hit by lightening and we had to be brought down by helicopter. It could only happen to me. lol

Ive been on Mt Aconcagua in the Andes and camped out for many nights with temperatures ranging from -8c down to -31celsius. Ive been in the Himalayas at Gokyo six lakes, and camped out at around -30celsius. If you want to go somewhere really cold go to Yutusvk in Siberia. Average January temp -45 celsius. Then you could go out into the mountains not far from there (Russias north pole) (suitably equipped) and there it is said to drop down to -70celsius up on the peaks.

Georgian Bay Canada I was on the top of a ski mountain and the temp got to 25-30 degress below 0 it was so cold my snot froze to my face!!!! BRRRR

Niagra on the lake Canada it was -35 with a 35 mph wind. I have never been so cold in my life. I'm a west coast boy--we don't even do snow here.

Ottawa, Ontario. I attended Uni there. I think it got down to -19 Celsius that winter. If you went outside and took a breath, you'd feel the saliva in your mouth frost over.

-30 11 years ago in British Columbia, Kelowna. It was so cold that the second I walked outside my nose hairs froze, and I couldn't start my car! It was some sort of a record.

The coldest I've ever been was in a boat on the Bristol Channel when I suffered from hypothermia.
