If your tv is DLP, most likely is a problem with the DMD board.This is how it works: electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm
If its a LCD, you're having a light engine problem.

Time to get a new TV.
It's a sign from God that you're watching too much TV. Or that you have a problem with the power supply.
It's an indication that you need to RETURN the set to the store where you bought it, and get a replacement, under the warranty.

My tv connected to two freeview boxes which R okay but when switching to television I get a picture butis very dark. What is wrong?

Purchased a sony display tv. No cable right now. A bar with tv setups pops up at the top, display removes it but it comes back up. Any help?

proview pa-jk321a turns on then off immediatly. has orange light on front, sometimes a blue light, sometimes backlight remains on any help?

You're reading My television had perfect reception, then heard a snap. The screen went dark with a green dot in the middle of the TV, it then went away and the TV quit working. No picture or audio. What do you think this could be?
