    I think he was wrong. Maybe 50% of the people enjoy 15 minutes of fame.

    Yes, I do think that may be true. Although it may not always be in the way we hope or expect it to be. Sometimes it's just for some reason that causes us to become more visible or noticed for some unexpected reason. Then it's over forever. That's probably what Warhol meant. It probably happens to everyone at least once in their life. If you're old enough to look back on many years of your life, you'll probably be able to pick out your fifteen minuts. It could have been your wedding day, as the bride. It could have been that great job you did at the office when you were awarded a prize and had a speech made in your honor. It could have been the day your daughter won a gold medal in a regional championship of some kind, and everyone was speaking about you as being special as her mother. Who really knows when it will happen? But I do think Warhol was right.
