Help answer this question below.
I don't even think he exsisted to start with. There is no historical evidence of this. Therefore the parting of the Red sea is just another story.
Yes I do and he did it with the help of power from God, or holy spirit. Parting some water isn't a big deal for someone that created the earth.
It's yet one more mistake in the bible. They probably meant the reed sea and that just requires a strong breeze to separate the reeds. Moses probably just had a curry the night before.
Here's some bits I have gleaned from the web: "In flat marshy districts large areas are often intermittently covered by shallow water or laid dry by the action of the wind. . . " (Buttrick, pp. 937-8).
A few years back some writers argued that a volcanic erruption on the island of Santorini (about 500 miles north of Egypt), c. 1450 B.C., could have produced a tidal wave that parted the Red Sea. There is no evidence for this view. Others have suggested that a volcanic explosion in the 13th century B.C. parted the Red Sea. Such would hardly have accommodated the Israelites, since the exodus under Moses occurred in the mid-15th century B.C.!
Myself? Maybe a Tsunami. :o)
Miracles are always difficult to believe or substaniate. So rather than just believe, everyone wants to apply logic and solve it with physics or chemistry. or just say it is a miss interpretation. I believe Jehovah Yahweh parted the Red Sea so Moses could escape the Egyptians Chasing Them. It is obvious Jehovah had no Love for the Egyptians because they worshipped the sun god, Ra, an object Jehovah created.
Yes. Exodus 14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,
no it's a fairy tale like all the storys in the bible
If by Red Sea you mean Lindsay Lohan's bush, I think he used a small comb and some styling gel.
Moses extended his staff above the waters and God made them part. There is a psalm that describes the way God did this was as a " blast from His nostrals. " Those who are mocking the event as being just an act of wind are actually making an argument for God and not against Him.
at an area of low land with deeper water either side with water on it and the wind blows directly down the water will part leaving land
No, I think UFOs did it. Come on, that's just as believable!
This is a misinterpretation as it was the sea of reeds.
No, I believe that the Hebrews, led by Moses, crossed the Reed Sea, which naturally recedes during a specific time of year, leaving large portions that were once submerged dry and crossable.
Also, the story's account, being backed up by Psalms 136:15, says that Pharaoh was destroyed in the sea wall's collapse, which is incorrect. The Pharaoh at the time of the the exodus was Ramses the Great which lived well into his 90's and did not perish at the Red/Reed Sea, but rather died of natural causes.
G'day 5Drelease,
Thank you for your question.
There are now claims that it could have been a strong wind.

there are new findings of chariots in the bottom of the red sea.

The chariots in the Red Sea is a myth commonly reported ( I've seen this report for over a decade ) as fact in magazines. The event did occur but any chariots would've decayed and rusted to nothing identifiable by now in water.
