I do believe he's said that the Constitution is flawed. I believe he studied it in order to undermine & destroy it. I am frankly surprised to see your question. I've posted question and answers that have caused a feeding frenzy on my flesh. You, sir, are a man of courage and I like that. I don't know what can be done to stop this rapid race to destroy this country but, I'm hoping that people like you can give the rest of us out here some encouragement.

Only the most precise of legalese can only be interpreted exactly as it is written. The fact of the matter is that the Constitution is over 200 years old and was written to answer the injustices of a society both more individualistic and primitive. The Founders couldn't nearly have seen the legal needs of today's world.

Ummm ever heard of the Bill of Rights? Or how about all of the first 27 Amendments? Or the insertion that all men *AND WOMEN* are created equal? Those are all changes to the constitution. The constitution has never remained in its original form. So why pretend like it ever has?

He hasn't disregarded any of it. Now, Bush on the other hand violated the constitution on several occasions. He illegally wire tapped American citizens. He prevented people from demonstrating places he was appearing. Need I go on.

Where was your outrage when GWB suspended Habeas Corpus rights for American citizens. American citizens spend YEARS in detention without access to legal council or due process rights. Where was your OUTRAGE then?!

I don't think your statement is true. I recently read an article that addressed this issue, and it concluded that if people actually wanted to use the constitution in it's "pure form" the only people that could run for president would be: White males from the original 13 colonies. Specifically, the freedom of speech clause actually doesn't say "you have freedom of speech" it says that congress shall make no laws to limit speech or press, so in the purest form, we don't have the right to freedom of speech, that is "implied". and to that point, since the passing of the "patriot act" the government can in fact limit your speech, since anything you say can be recorded and used to place you in jail.
