walk behind,but I'm getting rid of more and more lawn and planting drought tolerant groundcovers that don't need mowing
I used to have a self-propelled walk behind, but now I don't even have a lawn.

Neither - someone else mows my lawn. Thank goodness, since I can never get the dang things to start. I pull that cord and pull it, and pull it, and pull it.... |:(

We have a regular type push mower.
I have a walk behind, I can use the excerise.
We live in the city, and our lawn is so small, we use a weedeater, and electric scissors for the trim work !!!
I wish I had a scythe... Then I could do the lawn in a black hooded cape and make the neighbors think I was death playing golf!
Or grimm from Billy and Mandy... Either one is fine by me.

Walk behind, take forever, push mower.
With a couple of acres of vinyard to mow, I hook up a four foot mower behind the tractor, and let them weeds know who's THEIR daddy!

Unless your lawn is massive, my family sees riding lawn mowers as being pretty lazy.
We have a push mower and we live on a hill and our lawn isn't small. It takes a lot of work to mow it, but it's good exercise and worth it.
I have a self propelled walk behind & I hate it. I usually take off the propelled part because it spins out in the yard & makes ruts.

I've got the manpower push mower. The kind they used back in the ol days.
I was attempting to go green :P
