Help answer this question below.

I have 1986 Chevy Nova its been sitting for 8 months. the rear wheel is locking up. when i start in reverse it will roll for a short distance and lock up what is the problem and how do i fix it i have greased it already

    Car probably has drum brakes front and rear.

    Sitting for that long, the brakes have probably rusted together.

    Take the rear wheels off and check the inside of the brake drums.
