Help answer this question below.

Do you literally "laugh" at the down rating trolls? i received a -5 TD rating after asking a simple question on trail mixes and its nutritional benefits..i laughed at the rating..because getting red in the face is what they expect of you..

    the hardest i've laughed at a rating was the -5 I got on my answer to "What states have you visited?" LOL

    No, my breath and laughter is too precious for such things. Luckily, it doesn't happen often at that level (-5s). Sorry that happened though. They should have left a comment.

    Points aren't something to get excited about and neither are trolls. Don't let it spoil your fun here on AB :)

    What I do laugh hysterically over are people who claim that every single negative they got MUST be the work of trolls. Give me a break (rolls eyes).

    When that happens with questions, there isn't much one can do to correct it after the 5 minute limit. If an answer is downrated, it's never a bad idea to re-evaluate it and decide whether you need to edit it.

    If you ever find yourself wanting to downrate somebody, please leave a comment for that person as to why you did so. Trust me, your fellow AB'ers will have more respect for you than they do the person who lops off points quietly. Be sure you are downrating for a good reason too, disagreeing on an opinion, is NOT (contrary to popular beleif a good reason).

    I always get downrated for answering religion based questions, it just gets me mad. I here their opinions and they seem to neglect or deny my belief.
