    Rose hips are used in flavorings, so probably all else is safe

    I'm not sure about the leaves, but the flower petals are edible and add a nice touch to a salad.

    petals or the leaves? either one isnt harmfull, but the green stuff may not taste very good, whereas the flower itself can be used for teas or soups and be rather tasty.

    They aren't toxic unless some gardener sprayed them with poison. Roses are very yummy, as are many other flowers. I've added many flowers to salads or fried them, too.
