Help answer this question below.
Yes, and yes.
I have a cell phone but often don't have it turned on or carry it with me. I make phone calls only when I have to get or give information.
The main reason I've got one is that there are fewer and fewer pay phones around these days.
Yes I do, it can make calls... but I got bored with all the other million features that came with it.
I use a cellphone every day, because I don't have any other phone.
I haven't needed or used a wired landline phone in over two years!
I own one and its been lost for a month! I really don't need it. I cant wait till my contract is up in April, so I don't have to pay for a cell phone I don't use!
No. My company gave me one so, Yes I do need it. I have to call into the office at the end of the day to let them know I made it off site safely.
Yes I own one, and I don't really need it (but I like to have it in case of emergency).
I own a cell phone and I once thought I absolutely needed it, but after breaking my phone and not having one for a few weeks, I relized that yeah it's a hassle not to have one, but that it's not the most necessary thing either. Most of my friends think it's so crazy that I don't always bring my phone with me when we go somewhere. I'm in my 20's, to not have your cell attached at your hip is unknown.
Yes, I own one. Yes, I need it for emergencies.
No and yes. It's so freakin' inconvenient to NOT have one.
UPDATE:
I got myself a cell phone about a two weeks after this was posted. Phew!
Yes I own one but I spilt wine on it this weekend and now it won't switch on. I really need to get my numbers off it. I just tried to phone my best friend but I can't remember the number, it was some Scottish woman who answered. I feel completely cut off from the world. HELP!!
Yes. And no. I've lived without one for most of my life, the only reason I *really* need it is for calling my mom to find out where and when she's picking me up from the mall and other places, but otherwise, it's more of a material possesion to show off =) lol
Yes I do, and no I don't.
Yep. I have two.
Not anymore. Getting rid of it was wonderful, the smartest thing I ever did. I'm free and I think my blood pressure went down.
Yes I have one!
Yes I do!
I do but i hardly use it
I do own a cell phone. I work for a cellular service provider, so in my case it is vital to have one so I can be more knowledgeable about the cellular world. Would I need it if it weren't my career? Probably not, but they sure are fun. Plus...they got rid of all the pay phones.
yes i do but sence its turned off no i dont but if i had the money to pay the bill i would and yes i do need it cuz my family is always on red alert.
Yes. Of course I don't need it, I lived 35 years without one. It does come in handy when I want to phone in my order to the Chinese take out and it's ready when I arrive.
yes i do own one..no, i dont really need it -though it was my dad's idea to get one..why he wanted GPS and bluetooth with still camera/video capabilities, and he still doesnt know how to access these features, is beyond me..i have better luck.

yes i have a cell phone and i call it my bitch cause it has to be on me always.lol
Yes. (That answers both questions.)
Yes and yes. I commute, so if my car breaks down (and it has) it's nice to have.
Yes I do own one and no I don't need it.
yes i have a phone...i dont really need it but after not having it for two months (because it was lost) i found that it is actually quite useful
Yes i think every one needs a phone especially from optus cause i own a shop with them.
yes and yes, I do not have a land line I only have a cell
yes and yes. i do not have a land line so i need some means of communication. that and i am rarely home so this is just easier.
Yes!
& definitely YES!
Can not live without my mobile phone it's with me all the time...I know I'm extreme.
Yes I own a cell phone. I find it very useful! As I live alone and am rarely home anyways so I had my home phone disconnected and use my cellphone for everything. It really suits me and my lifestyle and I was able to get a really great package and is actually cheaper then what I was paying for my home phone.
Right now, definitely. It's my only resource for phone calls at the present.
Remember the good old days when you couldnt be reached? I miss them so much, I get calls all the time work and personal. Now I can't get a minute to myself, I have tried turning it off, but I need to be in touch with work and so its impractical. The only time I am free of it is when Im on the underground (in London).... bliss!
Own 1, use 2.1 is from work. I do really need it- if get stuck in traffic and I am going to be late I can let people know. Or if someone needs to reach me on an emergency basis, they can. (this has come in handy more than I would care to mention!)
If I forget something important and have left home or work- I can call someone and take care of it.
With all the free minutes I have, its cheaper for me to keep in touch with friends and family on nights and weekends than by using a land line.
I got the best slide phone ever. Yes I need it.
No, of course I don't... oh wait hold on I have a call....
No and no.
I do own a cell phone and yes I really need it. I use it for all long distance its cheaper than a land line, plus I am disabled and I use the cell when I am out riding my power wheelchair in case I have trouble with the chair. I have blown fuses as to where the chair dies and won't go at all. I do carry extra fuses but it is a pain in the ass to try and fix it in the midle of the street or in the middle of the sidewalk. I have also made a mistake by not watching how much power is left in my batteries and the chair dies it is nice to have the cell to call someone so they can come and pick me up in the van.
yes I have a cell phone, but i definitely can live without it.... Its really convenient to have though!
Yes, and it's my only phone.
Yes as do all of my family and friends.
I do, and it's really useful. And it makes my mother feel a lot better that she can reach me any time.
yes
Yes, and so do my husband, daughter and son. Makes life easier.
No and No. I have a landline with an answering machine, if it's important, leave a message.
I do not have a cellphone.
I leave it in my car for emergencies on the road. Other than that I don't need it. I have no desire to constantly be at everybody's beck and call. It is for my convenience, not everybody else's.
Yes, but I hardly ever use it.
Yes. Voyager. And my exterior screen is cracked.
Happy Thanksgiving!
