I've never heard that. When I see a penny I always pick it up. We have a container for pennies and when I get enough I put them in those penny wrappers and take them to the bank and exchange them. Tell you the truth I've never noticed whether the penny was heads or tales. It can't be unlucky because I've done that for years and I think I'm very lucky sweetie! :)
